The sun set immediately after lunch yesterday. The above photo – a lamp set against a window – was taken at 3pm. Not knowing all that much about astronomy, I just assumed the apocalypse had come and was manifesting itself in a rather benign way; but no! Further investigation reveals that these celestial mood swings are totally normal during the Minnesotan winter and are due – as you might expect – to the sun suffering from severe occupational depression after several weeks of failing (spectacularly) to provide heat anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon.
Seems a little defeatist to me.

Alright I would just like to celebrate the fact that this pic is very cool and does not involve Finn, THE DOG. Becca, Nate, STOP taking pictures of the dog. Oh my god. You could make a book with all those pics! Becca: get a baby. ;) Nate:…really? ;) Though I have to admit the pic of Becca holding onto the dog trying to pose him and take a pic at the same time is a bit hilarious. It is great to have fast internet for a few hours to be able to see pics but man does it make me really sad to see pics of ya’ll nonetheless, no matter how adorable (I’m talking about the people pics, not the dog ones) they are. *Sigh* World moving on without me. Oh well. Nate some of your pics in flickr are so cool, how are you doing that circle like thing? Is that your now, sigh, old camera? ;) How do you need a new camera when your old one was so badass? I bet it’s sad. I gotta get me one of those pronto. Anyways. Seriously I’m impressed. Beautiful photos. Now I will stop and go to the Dr. because I’m sure this is way way too long for the comments section which only shows how little I do technology things. ;) Love ya.
