We thought it had been lost. All the backups had been destroyed…all the work files deleted (an obvious security measure) and the film itself….forgotten. The last remaining copy was found in the dark recesses of Antonio’s iPod; put there – I’m sure – as an afterthought.
He’s back. All three of him.
No only that… we also found the old 7am in Salicotto .
Finally (i’m adding this on a little later on) I found a song which was referenced in A Time of Gifts by Patrick Leigh Fermor . It’s called Hallelujah, I’m a Bum, (possibly written by Harry McClintock ) and does an excellent job of summing up my attitude towards springtime. Just thought I would share.

While poking around here, I accidentally over-clicked and ended up with a layered soundtrack to Mike’s adventure (+ Hallelujah I’m a Bum), which I found rather convincing. Thanks for the distraction!

Hi Nate! That’s wonderful! But don’t you think that one Mike is enough? Anyway, I wanted to ask you one thing. You are an expert in drawing and programming, son maybe you can help me… Is there an easy program to draw with computer? maybe also for free on the web?
If not, i’ll go on drawing with hands.. BYE!!

Margherita! Draw with hands! Draw with hands! Computers don’t come anywhere near the real thing. If you need it on a screen….I’d get a scanner. Besides, I’m convinced that at some point this whole computer fad will pass :-)
That being said, I’ll admit; there are some pretty impressive ways to digitally manipulate a drawing. You _can_ get good editing programs for free (“GIMP”:http://www.gimp.org/ comes to mind.) But the best ones out there are decidedly not. “Photoshop”:http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/index.html is absurdly priced and the same goes for the reasonably popular “Corel Paint”:http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/us/en/Product/1166553885783. Do you have a project in mind?

i just wanted to explore this new (for me) world of computer imaging… anyway i found “artweawer” and now i’m trying to understand how it works. not so easy for my anti-computer-mind. i’ll tell you!
bye and thanks!
